Acrylic, metal foil, mixed media on 2" deep cradled wood panel
I can’t stop painting great blue herons - they seem to belong to the land, the water and the sky all at the same time. I love the S-curve in their dramatic necks and their head-feathers and the way their long legs trail out behind when they fly. I will never ever get tired of watching them.
