A painting symbolizing the duality inherent in nature - a group of beautiful foxgloves sends roots down deep in the earth for sustenance and stability, while reaching upwards toward the stars for knowledge and understanding.

Foxgloves heal when used in small doses as medicine, and kill when used in higher doses as poison. They require the sunlight of day to grow, and the cool dark of night to rest and regenerate. They are called the “fairy flower” in folklore. They symbolize riddles and secrets, fertility and women’s magic. They are associated with the air element and sign of Aquarius, and are ruled by Saturn (like myself) - the farthest planet in our skies that can be seen with the naked eye.
